The Carer and Family Support service is specifically for carers and family members of people who experience enduring mental health issues. They offer advocacy, listening support, peer support through carer and family groups, debt and financial advice, practical support around issues such as Self Directed Care, and signposting to other organisations which offer a more specialised support and advice service, for those that may need it. Cause offers a free and confidential helpline service. It also offers support groups, activities and short breaks, 1-1 carer support and training for Cause carers. Due to Covid an online hub has been set up to provide practical support and useful information to carers. Operates an open referral system.
